The Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. ChronoTracer is a cloud-based software service that empowers litigators and investigators to analyze electronic evidence.

We understand that you are aware of and care about your own personal privacy interests, and we take that seriously. This Privacy Notice describes the Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc.’s policies and practices regarding its collection and use of your personal data, and sets forth your privacy rights. We recognize that information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, and so we will from time to time update this Privacy Notice as we undertake new personal data practices or adopt new privacy policies.

The purpose of this Privacy Notice is to inform data subjects about the processing of their personal data in compliance with GDPR.

How we collect and use (process) your personal information

Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. collects personal information about its website visitors and customers. With a few exceptions, this information is generally limited to:

  • To provide prospects and customers with our services: This processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or in anticipation of entering into a contract with you.

We do not sell personal information to anyone and only share it with third parties who are facilitating the delivery of our services.

From time to time, Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. receives personal information about individuals from third parties. Typically, information collected from third parties will include further details on your employer or industry. We may also collect your personal data from a third party website (e.g. LinkedIn).

Use of the Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. Websites

  • For strictly necessary cookies (e.g., Auth0 for authentication & session management): We rely on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) to ensure the proper functioning and security of our websites and services, and for the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) to provide you with the services you request that require these cookies. These cookies are essential for the app to function properly and cannot be disabled.
  • We use analytics and advertising technologies, including Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to help us understand how users engage with our websites, measure advertising effectiveness, and improve user experience. These tools may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, referring and exit pages, and on-site activity. Meta Pixel may also allow us to deliver more relevant ads to you on Meta platforms and measure actions taken after viewing or interacting with our ads.
  • For marketing and personalization cookies (e.g., HubSpot): We process this data based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can manage your preferences via the cookie banner or “Cookie Settings” option.

Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. has a legitimate interest in understanding how customers and potential customers use its websites. This assists Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. with providing more relevant products and services, with communicating value to our customers, and with providing appropriate staffing to meet customer needs.

Cookie Management

The ChronoTracer App and our affiliated websites use cookies and similar tracking technologies to recognize you, enhance your user experience, and support the functionality of our services when you visit or interact with our platform. It also outlines your rights and choices regarding the use of these technologies, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Sharing information with third parties

The personal information Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. collects from you is stored in one or more databases hosted by third parties located in the United States. These third parties do not use or have access to your personal information for any purpose other than cloud storage and retrieval. On occasion, Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. engages third parties to send information to you, including information about our products, services, and events.

We may share certain information about your use of our site with third parties such as Meta Platforms, Inc., to support marketing and advertising efforts. This includes hashed email addresses or behavioral data collected via cookies or similar technologies, only where permitted by your consent settings.

Transferring personal data to the U.S.

Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. has its headquarters in the United States. Information we collect about you will be processed in the United States. These clauses have been enhanced based on the guidance of the European Data Protection Board and will be updated when the new draft model clauses are approved.

Depending on the circumstance, Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. also collects and transfers to the U.S. personal data with consent; to perform a contract with you; or to fulfill a compelling legitimate interest of Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. in a manner that does not outweigh your rights and freedoms. Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. endeavors to apply suitable safeguards to protect the privacy and security of your personal data and to use it only consistent with your relationship with Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. and the practices described in this Privacy Statement. Security of your information

Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. takes the security of your personal data seriously and implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR.

Encryption: All personal data is encrypted both in transit (using TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest using industry-standard encryption algorithms.

Network Security: Firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and continuous monitoring are deployed across our cloud infrastructure to detect and prevent unauthorized access.

Data Minimization and Retention Policies: We limit data collection to what is necessary for our services and have established data retention policies that include scheduled deletion and purging.

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: We maintain backup systems and have a formal business continuity and disaster recovery plan in place to ensure service resilience and data integrity.

Vendor Risk Management: All third-party service providers and subprocessors undergo security and data protection due diligence prior to engagement. Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) are signed where required.

Security Awareness and Training: All employees undergo regular security awareness training, including topics such as phishing prevention, secure data handling, and GDPR compliance.

These measures are reviewed and updated regularly as part of our commitment to continuous improvement in information security.

Data Subject rights

The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other countries’ privacy laws provide certain rights for data subjects. Data Subject rights under GDPR include the following:

Data storage and retention

Your personal data is stored by the Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. on its servers, and on the servers of the cloud-based database management services the Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. engages, located in the United States. The Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. retains service data for the duration of the customer’s business relationship with the Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. and for a period of time thereafter, to analyze the data for Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc.’s own operations, and for historical and archiving purposes associated with Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc.’s services. Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. retains prospect data until such time as it no longer has business value and is purged from Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. systems. All personal data that Quoyi Intelligent Legal Technologies, Inc. controls may be deleted upon verified request from Data Subjects or their authorized agents.
